Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

family update
so i wrote about this very briefly on my blog last night, but i'm not sure who reads it and who doesn't so i wanted to make sure i updated here: the meeting of the parents went well yesterday, at least according to my folks. they talked about lots of stuff and even talked about grandkids. c's parents also admitted that they had let some of their past decisions be influenced by c's brother. we haven't heard anything about the meeting from her parents, but i'm going to call it a success.
