Deja Vu

Okay...I'll stop being a post whore after this one...

So today, while I was nursing Libby I had this weird deja vu moment when I was looking at her and thought, "I knew that she'd look exactly like this...I have seen her face before..."

And then I remembered....back in October 2008, I wrote this blog post:

And had this computer generated photo predicting our offspring's looks based upon our photo (it was part of a PR campaign for VW)...I put in this photo:

And it generated this baby:

Is that bizarre or what?!?!?!

I know, isn't it weird. I mean I know the computer things was just based on general criteria...and if you look at my blog post I got several variations. I just think it's so bizarre that one of them actually looks like her! LOL!

Maybe our babies will look alike...that would be a trip!

Aw, thanks for saying so Tara. I get a lot of "she looks JUST like your hubby..." and I start to wonder if she looks like me at all. I think she's pretty much a blend of the two of us (looks-wise) but she definitely looks a lot like J. We have a baby pic of him that looks just like Libby. I've been meaning to scan it...it's so uncanny.

That is funny Libby does resemble the computer generated image! When Jack arrived I was convinced he looked exactly like me but I now see both of us in him. My family and friends are convinced he looks exactly like me and John's family/friends see john the most. At my shower next week my aunt will have framed baby pics of both of us for ppl to compare.

I know this sounds weird, but look at the left ear (the right on the screen), it's exactly the same as Libbys!

I totally agree with this! Smile When I first saw pics of Libby, I thought she looked just like Joseph...but the more I look at her, the more of you (Lori) I see in her, especially around the chin/mouth and eyes.

I totally agree with this! When I first saw pics of Libby, I thought she looked just like Joseph...but the more I look at her, the more of you (Lori) I see in her, especially around the chin/mouth and eyes.

I agree...everyone on my dad's side of the family has those eyes/forehead (my brother, my niece, my nephew....we get it from our dad) and that chin (which comes from my mom's side of the family). Libby definitely has the Wright nose (Joseph's sister has it too and it's from their father) and her cheek bones seem to favor his mom's side of the family. She's definitely got his fingers and toes (LONG) and my thighs (chubby)...LOL!

That's awesome...I remember your original post. I agree that Libby def has many of your features espcially your eyes. She's beautiful.
