I need to vent for a sec
and it's only 7:30am....my coworker & boss are irritating the hell out of me. I told my boss this morning that I needed to take Friday off for my Grandma's funeral and he got all huffy b/c our front office lady is on vacation. Well excuse me...I can't exactly dictate when my Grandma passes away!! Trust me I would much rather her be here and work on Friday than have to go to her funeral! I wanted to slap him.
Vent #2 coworker-she's been so effing unhelpful since our front office person went on vacation. She won't answer the phones b/c "it's not her job" (um...yeah it is when nobody can). She refuses to do any on the insurance stuff b/c she doesn't want to. Well neither do I, but I suck it up and do it anyway. So not only am I doing my job in the back, but I'm also running the front too. I didn't say anything to her this morning so she came up to the front where I was checking e-mails and messages b/c apparently she can't and gave me a snooty "hi Natalie" I just shot her a dirty look and said good morning. The thing is we usually get along great, but God forbid she have to help out and do things that "aren't her job"
Okay, sorry that was so long, I had to get it off my chest so I don't say anything to either of them.

Ok. First.... WTH? Your boss sounds like a total @$$. Who would give someone ha hard time for going to a grandparent's funeral?! That is nuts and mean and heartless.
Second... your co-worker sounds like she needs to be put in her place and is acting a little 'too big for her britches' if you know what i mean. Sorry your week has started off so awful. ::HUGS::
Sorry you have to deal with this especially when dealing with the loss of a family member. I can't believe how heartless some ppl can be.
