Re: PCP/TTC Wednesday
me me! c started on clomid last week, and today is her last day on it. we have an appointment on the 8th for an ultrasound (which just happens to be next wednesday, so i'm sure i'll have more update late that day). if all goes well we'll be inseminating next week. crazy!
Wow... next week! That's awesome and very exciting news!
How did C do on the clomid? I hear the side effects can be pretty hellish for some.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

i know! crazy, isn't it?
she's been...a little moody. nothing terrible, but she was pretty grouchy yesterday. part of that was because my dad was over helping work on the bathroom and she was frustrated with some stuff, but her fuse was definitely a bit short. she calmed down pretty quickly, though, after he left and we spent some time talking. she's also been getting really hot. like she took the other night off and wanted the fan on all night--meanwhile i'm under two blankets and still chilly, and it didn't help that the fan was on my side of the bed and she didn't want to move it!
Good luck!
Clomid made me hot too (so unusual for me!) and have raging headaches!
I am so excited for all of you! I really miss the anticipation of it all!
GL!
No updates here...still no job.
Well wait...i guess I have a small update. K added me to her insurance....you know, the one that covers IVF! So, whenever I do get job and we move forward everything will be totally covered :-)
We got to hear the heartbeat last Friday which was really cool. We have another ultrasound this Friday and one more the following, then we will be released from the RE to my regular OB.
I went maternity clothes shopping for the first time this week. Just trying to plan ahead and catch some deals. It was funny trying stuff on and thinking I will be filling it out soon!

bluedaisyus -- g'luck... what an exciting time!
Nothing particularly new here. W's belly continues to grow and we have a midwife appt tomorrow. So maybe I'll have something to report next week. We have been totally focused on the pregnancy b/c the non-profit that W is starting is in high gear and will roll out soon. I have been singing to the baby at night though and she seems to dance around when I sing to her. Otherwise, we start childbirth classes 10/13 and are excited about that. Sorry so rambly.

no news for us. The egg and sperm missed eachother I think by a few days. So we are waiting for next months not so patiently.
good news on bluedaisy's news can't wait to hear about your us next week
aww good luck blue!
ladies expecting -- Ann Taylor Loft and Old Navy both have maternity clothes on sale -- worth taking an on-line peek!!
Nothing new here. C got a bit of a raise, so we're socking it away for a new car. We need a vehicle to replace her 98 corolla (and I drive a 2dr sports car) before baby, so probably next fall sometime. I figured out if I push through my classes, I'll be ABD in May 2010, so that's the earliest we're aiming to deliver
So good to see everyone's updates. We certainly have a lot of activity in this department!
I called Fairfax for the first time yesterday. For some reason, I got all nervous and shy when the person answered the phone. Odd. The person I spoke to was professional, but not very warm... Nothing like a cold interaction to remind me that to me, this is the beginning of starting our family (with all the attendant warm mushy feelings), while to them, it is simply a business deal. In any case, I got a couple of questions answered about a few donors we're interested in, so that made me happy.
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
I don't really have any updates at the moment. We're still working on the guest bedroom (tomorrow we're polishing the floor, then its time for wainscoting, then we'll paint the trim and closet, put up the polka dots and we're done!), which feels like its taking forever.
On a slightly TMI note... I believe I'll be ovulating this cycle right around our two year anniversary. Wouldn't that be an awesome time to get pregnant?! Lol. Well, putting aside the fact that ANY time would be an awesome time to get pregnant. Then we'd find out right before Halloween.
Anyway, that's just some daydreaming. Today I have a dentist appointment, which is actually one thing to check off my PCP list... dental health is very important! Otherwise, life as normal!!
