Re: Good Morning-Monday!

  • My weekend was wonderful!! It included girls night out (Yay!), movies, wine, more movies, more wine, the couch, my DH, and yummy food :)

  • Our weekend was pretty good, relaxing. Didn't get any cleaning done though.

I am seriously hating the time change right now! I am sooo tired! Getting to work when it's still dark out just sucks!

  • This weekend went to Vegas and stayed with family. Saw Zumanity at the New York, New York and Dennis DeYong (former lead singer of Styx). We also went to the Hoover Dam and did a tour there. Got stuck in some awful traffic on the way back home, boo! My cousin is coming from Phoenix on Wed through the weekend so I have to clean my house and go grocery shopping (her husband is allergic to gluten, so hard to find food he can eat!).
  • Morning! Weekend was busy-Sat TRU and Barbies with Isabel, than with the family- In&Out, Old Navy, Target and Coldstone. Sun-lunch w/ my dad's family at grents house in Hemet. Than laundry and packing and playing at home. This morning I actually got up early and had 40min to do some laundry and packing before I left for work. Luckily I don't seem to be too bothered by the time change. This afternoon I need to drop off paperwork w/ Isabel's ped and pick up a memory card. And a ton more laundry and cleaning.
  • Getting up this morning was one the hardest things I've done in my
life. I hate this time change, plus L was up screaming for about 20
minutes after I nursed him in the middle of the night. Andy and I were
both too exhausted to get him so he eventually tired out and fell
    asleep.
We had a great weeked. Girl's night on Friday was lots of fun.

Saturday we did some yard work and bought more plants. I got my herb
garden going - rosemary, basil, cilantro, and chives. I also planted
some flowers in pots and along the side of the house. A and his dad
got the pool pump going so now it doesn't look like a swamp. The yard
    is coming along quite nicely.
Yesterday we went to church and then to TRU and got L this :http://
    www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3004162 and some new
Tommee Tippee sippy cups. I hear they don't leak, which is why I got
them, but I noticed some leaking already in the diaper bag this
    morning :(

  • Friday was girl's night!  Woot!

Saturday I woke up to Sarah crying at 5am.  By the time I got to her
room she was climbing out of her crib.  Time for a big-girl bed!  C took the dogs to a Corgi playdate and while he was there, he found a stray INSIDE the dog park (it's gated).  He waited around for 3 hours an no one showed up.  No tags on the dog, either.  He brought the dog home and called around to find an open shelter.  He finally took him to one in Riverside.  It was obvious the dog belonged to someone.  He was very well trained and super-friendly.  Also got alone well with Riley and Murphy.  Unfortunately, we didn't know how he would get along with Sarah or how the dogs would react to him being near Sarah (they're very protective of her).  C felt horrible
after dropping him off...I felt so bad for him!  While C was with R&M, Sarah and I went to the Kids in the Kitchen fair at Riverside Plaza.  I had Sarah in her monkey backpack so she was able to walk around on her own.  She had so much fun watching everything going on!  Afterwards we stopped off at BRU for an Elmo potty seat (she wanted the "Mo" one and not the Tinkerbell one!) and a guard rail for a bed. We then went to check out the mattresses on sale at this place across the freeway from us.  Once C got home, we went back to the bed place and bought her the full/double set. We were going to get her a toddler bed but it was about $100 more to get her the full/double set and we can use the parts from the crib for the headboard and footboard.  She's doing really well in it!  Having some trouble
getting her to go to sleep in it...and stay in in.  But once she's out...she out for the nigth and appears to be sleeping better than she had in a long time.

I woke up super-early yesterday morning with a horible head cold. Just came out of nowhere!  Unfortunately, C couldn't help me with Sarah yesterday.  His conference in Palm Springs started yesterday afternoon and then he had dinner with clients last night.  I felt like a single mom...I was so sick and trying to watch Sarah was close to impossible.  She was pretty good though and let me rest.  We did go to Trader Joes and Target in the morning so we did get out for some "fun" (for her anyway).  :-)

I'm feeling much better today...still really congested but at least the fever broke.  No plans for tonight.  I'm hoping C gets home at a decent hour so I can take some "good" drugs and get some sleep!

Hope everyone has a great day!

  • Morning! It was rough getting up this morning, I'm so tired and I'm bummed I'm in the office since I was suppose to have the day off =/

Friday drove up with the dog to my parents house and took my sisters
to see Alice in Wonderland. It wasnt as good as I thought and H fell asleep during it =/

Saturday left my parents house, drove home and stopped at the Animal
Shelter on the way to get D's replacement tags since his old ones got
lost at my ILs when he stayed with them over Vday wkend. I was
expecting to pay a ridiculous amount but fortunately they dont price
gauge the replacement and I only had to pay $4 woohoo! By the time I
got home I wasnt feeling so great and I had terrible cramps kick in. I
was suppose to go out with H and some friends but he ended up going
alone so I could have a date night with my heating pad.

Sunday daylight savings couldnt have come on a worst day since we had
my ILS and my familiy over for dinner. There was so much to do and so
little time to do it. Fortunately my fam came early so my mom helped
me prep the food while my dad helped Mark fix our garage door. Love
having a dad and H that are so handy!

Today I'm working till noon and meeting H for our tax appointment.
Hope we get some $$ back!
  • Evening...I'm late to the party but I still made it!

Sorry I missed Friday night, I made it home and into the shower and then knocked out on the couch. Lame, I know.

Satruday we went to see some friends in Long Beach, where I was schooled on "froyo". Apparently, the LB'ers perfer you call it that and not frozen  yogurt. Hipsters! We had a really great time down there and I can't wait to go back. I forget how cool our friends are.

Sunday I was supposed to do a session with a cute couple but I backed out after I tossed my cookies at Target. I slept most of the day after that.

Fun times, I know. I'm hoping this upcoming weekend is better
