Have you been there before? Yes, almost every summer since I can remember.
Will you fly or drive? Drive, it's about 4 hours from us.
Who is going? Just the 2 of you? Friends? Family? Just the two of us, but we'll visit family while we're there.
If you could go anywhere (but you still only had the same amount of time) where would you go instead? Toughie. Vancouver perhaps? After watching all the commercials from the Olympics, I would love to go out there. I'm such a sucker for good marketing.
Where are you going? We're cruising to Bermuda for our 1 year anniversary in June, and we'll probably take an extended weekend trip to Bethany Beach in August
Have you been there before? Bermuda, no. Bethany Beach, yes
Will you fly or drive? we're taking a train to NYC to catch the cruise boat to Bermuda
Who is going? Just the 2 of you? Friends? Family? For our Bermuda trip his parents are going too. They'll have a seperate room and do their own thing for some of the days. I probably wouldnt go if they were going to be with us the entire time since it's our first anniversary. For Bethany Beach it will be his whole family
If you could go anywhere (but you still only had the same amount of time) where would you go instead? I think I would have picked a different location. FIL organized the trip through his work and we were looking at different trips before they convinced us to go along
I don't really consider mine vacations, but I'll play along anyway since I have a few trips planned.

Who is going? Just the 2 of you? Friends? Family? NC - I'm meeting Mike there. Miami - girls' trip! I'm not sure yet how many are going, as of now there are 6 girls.
If you could go anywhere (but you still only had the same amount of time) where would you go instead? At the top of my list right now, when Mike and I are able to actually able to go on a real trip together, is Ireland.
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

Where are you going? We are going to Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC in June for our anniversary trip. Then we will be going somewhere else in August.

Where are you going? We're going to Cancun June 6-13th... partly for our one year anniversary and partly because my baby sister is graduating from high school! And yes... we're bringing the baby.
So I don't get the side-eye... we spoke with his pedi, and they say as long as he's got his first shots (which he will have at two months) and no health issues, he'll be perfectly fine. Plus, it's way easier to travel when baby is young and sleeps a lot. 
Not to mention, we don't have to pay for a seat on the plane yet. lol
Have you been there before? Yep... I went when I graduated from high school seven years ago. And we were close to it for our honeymoon last year.

I hope no one gives you the side eye. I plan to fly and travel when I have a kid. I want them to get used to the plane when they are younger so they don't freak out as badly when they get older. Did you apply for his passport?
No not yet... I need his SSN! We applied for that at the hospital, but it can take up to 8 weeks I read for a brand new SSN! I need to call to talk to someone about his passport. I don't know what I'm going to do if it takes 8 weeks just for the SSN. I think it's totally ridiculous that I need to get my infant son a passport when he won't even look the same in a month! The passport lasts five years when they're kids I believe, and what happens if we go out of the country when he's four? His passport will have his baby picture. lol. Both DH and I are going... I think that his birth cert should suffice, like it would have back when I went to Cancun in 2003. But that is just me...

If you could go anywhere (but you still only had the same amount of time) where would you go instead? We would really love to go to Ireland or Italy, or on a cruise. However, there's a four-day conference/event we're going to Vegas for, and then we're just staying a couple of extra days to celebrate our anniversary, so other locales/choices weren't really viable this year. Besides, I love Vegas.
Right now passports are running pretty fast. If you pay to expedite his passport, you'll have it back in a week. I just got my passport with my married name, and even doing the slow route, I got it in under a month.
Where are you going? May - Florida Keys, August - Emerald Isle, NC, October - Denver

Will you fly or drive? Flying to all of them but will be renting a car and driving through the Keys

Where are you going? some of these aren't summer but I'm excited all the same-- next week: secret location that will be revealed on saturday; end of april: new orleans for jazzfest; june: new orleans for my birthday, end of june: DC and NYC; August: San Diego

There are so many places in the US I'd love to visit that I've never been before - I'm a teeny bit annoyed that we're visiting DC a second time, but I loved it there so I'll let it slide. I have never been to Austin, San Francisco, Charleston, Savannah. anywhere in Colorado... I'd love to go to all of those places.
