Thankful/Positve Monday

What are you thankful for/happy about/looking forward too?

Re: Thankful/Positve Monday

  • I'm looking forward to longer days...it was so weird last night when it was 7:00 and still light out...i loved it!

I'm thankful I got to spend lots of time with my aunt this weekend.

I'm thankful I don't have to work this weekend and I'm not going out of town so maybe I will actually get to spend some time at home doing some projects I've been wanting to work on.

I'm thankful for the warmer weather...it's so nice to not be freezing.  I haven't had my heat pump on in over a week now so I'm hoping to see that change on my electric bill.

And of course I'm always thankful for my great husband and wonderful furbabies...life would be a lot lonelier without them!

  • I'm really thankful for my in laws. They were supposed to come up Saturday but Greg called and asked them not to because we were fighting.  They ended up coming up Sunday, and were super nice. MIL brought me a birthday gift, which was really sweet (no one ever does bday gifts in my families). I knew she was giving me a Pampered Chef entertaining set, but then she also went out and got me their new PC 3-tier set.  Totally made me cry - and I hugged her and I said "J, you really didn't have to do that!"  She said "I wanted to... you're worth it." Crying  How freaking amazing is my MIL... and my FIL, despite being kind of gruff, was totally on board with it.

I'm also very thankful for the support of my closest friends.  There are days I really don't think I'd make it through without them.

THANK GOD for the beautiful weather we had this weekend.  It started out crummy, but by Saturday afternoon had totally lifted.  It was SO NICE to see some sun, our yard dry out, and Sunday was phenomonal.

ETA: Graves reminded me - I'm really thankful for Xena.  She's such a good girl and such a gentle giant.  I know she doesn't get it and is just sleepy, but I really appreciate her letting me snuggle up to her sometimes at night when we're watching TV. Plus, she's a little heater and keeps me warm! LOL

  • I am thankful that it is supposed to be sunny and in the 50/60's starting tomorrow. After four days of pouring rain I am so ready.

I am happy for daylight savings. The hour doesn't usually mess me up for long and I loooove when it's lighter longer.

I am thankful that my friend is taking my baby two days a week when I go back to work.

I am thankful that my husband is ridiculously excited about this baby, I think watching 16 and pregnant has made me appreciate him a billion times more lol

I am thankful Spring is on it's way, I am always in a much better mood.

I am thankful for my husband, family and good friends.

Maggie is my cuddle partner...I think being sandwiched between her and MH is what really keeps me so warm at night.  I used to be such a cold person!

Oh, I'm talking couch only.  Xena is RARELY allowed in bed and never to sleep. She doesn't get the concept of "edge of bed" and falls out! LOL
