Back from our wonderful cruise!
We just got off the Emerald Princess and it was amazing! It was not our first cruise, but the first on Princess and we loved it! It was more laid back than RC and more fancy than Carnival - so it was the best of both worlds!
St. Martin, St. Thomas, Princess Cays and Grand Turk were all amazing! We had the best shopping and beach adventures in St. Martin.
The only downfall is that I caught that nasty norovirus being passed around cruise ships. I caught it on our very last night, and we were up from 11pm until about 8 am Sunday when we had to leave the ship and fly home. The nurse gave me a huge shot in my rear and that stopped the symptoms. I was able to fly home and just rested all yesterday. Jer was such a doll through my whole ordeal.
All in all, the ship was immaculate and I don't blame Princess for the virus, as it is highly contagious and they did all they could to keep us healthy.
Phew! That is all the time I have for now, as I have a mountain of work to do.
