  I have two wedding photos on canvas, and one family photo from Dec 09.  Both times, I purchased from the photographer so I don't have a recomendation on who to use.  The reason why I like canvas over a print is that it makes the photo look like an oil painting or a work of art.  I have never done the gallery print style (photo on canvas, wrapped over frame, sides are like 1 1/2 - 2" and no framing needed), I just get the style that is on a board and then I have the prints framed.  Which picture are you thinking of doing?  What size?  The bigger the better IMHO, don't do an 8 x 10 or 11 x 14, something larger will be more stunning.

  I've been thinking about doing this too.  I have no experience with it or any recommendations based on quality, but I've been looking into doing it at Costco purely based on price.  A 16x20 is $49.99 vs. $89.99 on Shutterfly.

  I haven't done this either, but my cousin did one of her son & it came out great.  She did the wrap around the edges & no frame.  I think she got it through her photog so no help on a vendor.  But I definitely think it is worth it just b/c it is nore unique & different than just regular prints.
