I was looking at the Peace Lodge and it looked amazing! The rooms are not too expensive but what about the food? I've always wanted to go to Costa Rica. We want to go on a big trip for our 5yr anny. I think this would definitly be on the list of possibilities.

The food was AMAZING, our first night we had a 5 course meal with a bottle of GOOD wine and the bill was less than $75. Our second night we ate at the "casual" restaurant and caught our own fish. I cried when we got to the second hotel, which was also a beautiful hotel but nothing could ever come close to the Peace Lodge. We stayed in the standard room but there was nothing standard about it.
I tried to find the company we used but I can't, all that information is on my work laptop that they've locked me out of (but don't want back yet), if I find it I'll let you know.
Mike and I looked at this place last night and it's definitely on the short list for this year! I was shocked with how beautiful it is...I think we'd have to shell out for the delux room with the garden tub/shower though.
How close was this place to a beach?

Boo! Obviously I did no research on it...I didn't know you could only stay 4 nights...it's out for us.
