Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm so happy that we've only lost $17k in value in our house over the past 2.5 years! Hahaha. (I find this hilarious only because we plan to be here for at least another 5-7 years, possibly longer. If we needed/wanted to sell, it would probably be a different story.)
But, this means that our appraisal came in $6k over the value that I thought it would! Without having to paydown our current mortgage at all, we can lower our rate by 1.125%. I'm still waiting to hear back about potentially lower rate options though if we bring money to the table. Either way, I'm happy with the outcome!
