Has anyone ever hosted a Slumber Party or tried.....?

I'm the MOH for a wedding in June. The bride has requested one of these as a part of her Bach party.  I had never heard of this brand so I looked them up to see what they had to offer.

Ummm....Hello they have vibrating panties!  I about died laughing. They have me curious if they pantie are any fun. So my question is has anyone tried these? Also is there anything I need to know in order to make sure everyone has a great time at the party.

  • I had been to a Pure Romance party twice and then we had one as a part of my Bachelorette Party.  It was hilarious and fun.  I think it really depends on who the rep is too.  We had one girl that was really entertaining and another that was just sort of there selling stuff.

Also, I would recommend going out after.  It was fun but only for a couple hours.

  • I've never hosted but have been to many.  It's just like any in home party.  You supply the booze and food and they provide the entertainment.  It's a lot of fun.  They bring things for you to try (like creams).  They'll have a couple of the guests go to the bathroom and rub some on and describe what they're feeling.  Oh, and you pass around a HUGE dildo between your knees, without using hands, every time a certain word is used.
  • These are fun parties.  My cousin is actually a sales rep for this company.  They're fun without getting too out of control.  Most of the time the sales reps don't get into the "toys" unless someone asks individually.  You could just tell people upfront about what Slumber Parties is and maybe include the website in your invitation so that people who are uncomfortable with it have the option to not attend that part of the night.  Whenever I've gone to these by the time everyone has had a couple of drinks they're usually into the spirit of things and loosen up.

  • After I reread the post. I realized I made it sound like I was 2nd guessing the party. I'm totally not. I'm really looking forward to it as I haven't been to anything like this.  I

  • i had one for my bach party and it was soooo much fun. the hostess gets free stuff based on what people buy, but my cousin gave her free stuff to me. everyone will love it.

  • I went to one, it was a great time! They bring all kinds of stuff to show. :)

  • I've been to several Pure Romance parties and we actually had a 'slumber party' for my moms 50th bday.  The rep/party consultant will usually tell you what to expect for your guest.  Usually the hostess will provide drinks and snacks, but the rep will bring everything else.
