I have to say that Kenley makes the show exciting and so I think she will go to fashion week. I also hope that Jerrel and Kato go to the finals.
I desperately want to read and respond to this post, but we TiVo'ed PR and I can't watch until DH comes back home from his business trip. He loves this show and will kill me if I watch it without him, LOL. But I am dying to join this conversation.

I love that your husband won't let you watch without him, lol! My husband looks at me every week and says "You really like this show?".

I KNEW it. Predictable IMO. I like Kenley bc I like her look but she is getting irritating. I think it was a good call though, for once I think all of the designers are actually strong in their own ways. I dont know if there is a clea front runner for the finale.
It's the only one of my girly shows that he actually likes. He thinks it's neat to see how the designers actually create things. He's an engineer, so this makes sense. :-)
As for my other shows, such as America's Next Top Model, he can't stand them, although he has commented more than once on certain models that they are "too catalog" to be runway models. LMAO!!!!!!!

Just based on tonight's dresses - Koto (sp?). But I dislike Kenley and think she could benefit from a lesson in humility so I would have sent her packing. If I consider more than this one week I think Koto's dresses are memorable. Kenley's not so much - except the "rap" outfit?that was memorable in a bad way.
ETA: Who was your pick??
Kind of a cop out. But maybe I'm just saying that because Kenley drives me crazy and I wish she were gone.
My husband is as into it as I am. In fact he's pissed that he can't watch the finale until the end of the month because I'll be out of town and won't let him watch it without me!
I'm thrilled with the outcome. Kenely's attitude--I hate it--but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her clothes. While I didn't find her look tonight elegant at all, it was interesting, and I like that.
My guess is that it will be the 3 ladies, unless Jerrel shows some major improvements in his construction when he has the time to do it.
For the first time, I really excited to see ALL the collections.

I can't stand Kenley. She should have been sent home more than once, especially with that avant garde travesty. Her hippity hop wasn't much better. Yeah, Suede was past his time, but Kenley's was terrible. I can't stand to hear her, either, but beyond my dislike, I just think she has terrible taste at times and certainly no innovation.
I love Leanne. I think she has a very sublte but innovative look. She does interesting things.
I thought Jerrell's dress was really cool and unexpected. Kenley's dress was awful, but it fit the model perfectly. I loved Leanne's sketch, but didn't like the final outcome. Cato's was ok - she chose a great flower for her inspiration.
I am happy that no one was kicked off so we will get to see 4 collections.
I thought everyone did a god-awful job. There were problems either with taste (Kenley and Koto) and construction (Jarrell and Leanne) with all dresses.
I think it was a cop out to let them all create collections. I would have sent Kenley home (even though I thought Koto's dress was the worst) b/c her body of work is consistently bad. She is one note. One mid-century note. The Betty Paige look was hip about 15 years ago. Plus her tude is just....out of this world.
Looking forward to next week. I think the winner will be either Koto or Jarrell and I would be happy with this ending.
Yeah, I was really disappointed with it. I didn't like any of the dresses, though I think Kenley's was my least favorite. I hated the belt and the fish scales. And she is so freakin annoying.
While I hated Korto's dress, I think she is my favorite. She just has such a bold, interesting sense of style. And, this might sound ridiculous, but her name just sounds very fashion-designer ish to me. It's easy for me to envision a label or an ad. I think she would be a good "brand" if that makes any sense.
