I went to the doctors today and he changed my birth control because I was getting migraines on the pill I had been taking. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Loestrin 24Fe.
TIA

I've been on this pill for about 2 years. I haven't had any problems with it, but I haven't really had a period since I've started taking it. Mostly it has been spotting probably three times during the entire time I've been taking it. I asked the doctor about it and she said that was fine since it's such a low dose. Not sure if it's healthy or not but i don't mind not having my period haha.
HATED IT!
I gained so much weight and was taken off by my OBGYN because of that...
LOVE Loestrin. I tried Orthotricyclin and Seasonique, and both of those made me crazy and ruined my sex drive. Loestrin has been fantastic- no weight gain, no crazy mood swings, no headaches, no lowered sex drive. The only issue I have had is that my period comes as odd times, but its never heavy or disruptive. I know three other women who take Loestrin and love it, and we are all very different body shapes and personalities.
Every woman is different, but I would definitely recommend Loestrin!
I was on orthotricyclen low for many years and then I was on yaz for a couple years. With all the health risks popping up everywhere about yaz, I wanted to switch. My doctor switched me to Loestrin 24Fe. I only took it for 4 months, but my period went away. I was also going through major life changes (moved across the country, started a new job, husband started a new job), so there were many stressors that may have caused my period to stop. Regardless, I stopped taking it and sure enough, my period came back this month. Everyone is completely different and really, you don't know how your body will react until you try it. That's the conclusion I've come to with birth control.
