Re: Confessions?
I am beyond thrilled that the ILs left this morning (also glad they actually stayed as long as they said they would for DH's sake).
My internal clock is off since Vegas and I have been late to work almost every day since we got back.

I confess that I've done about 20 minutes worth of work this morning, and I don't feel all that guilty.
I confess I had iced oatmeal cookies for breakfast.
I confess that I'm relieved that the seller is going to sell us her faux fireplace after all, and I no longer have to figure out what to put in its place.

YAY for the faux fireplace mames! Kaley, that kitty is so darn cute!!
I confess that I had a dream about Boston Rob from Survivor (who I've never paid much attention to before in the past 5 years he's been on tv). And now, I am VERY excited for Thursday's episode
I think this just means I watch too much tv, I've also had dreams about Simon Cowell and Hugh Laurie
I haven't cleaned my shower in almost 2 weeks. I clean the rest of the bathroom but I can't get myself to clean the shower. I am lazy.
angel, I had a dream last night I tried to hook up with Andy Samberg at an after party. He seemed into it, but then turned me down. I hate being rejected in dream world.

DH and I had this fight when we were leasing my current car last August. It was the first one we had leased since we got married and he kept making snide remarks about how many cars I've had, why can't I buy a used car, etc... In the end, he admitted that he was jealous because he paid too much for his SUV that he bought used at the height of their popularity and he's still upside down on it and he really wants a truck but he knows its dumb to take a loss on his car thats almost paid off. We made a deal that he gets his truck before I get another new car (I lease for 3 years), assuming there isnt something that prevents it or I will buy a used car this time instead of leasing something else.

I confess that I'm actually relieved that four of my students no-showed their presentations this morning because I was getting kinda bored and was happy to leave early.
I confess that even though it's pretty much official that I won't be graduating until Fall (post-Thesis Defense), I'm still planning on walking in May and throwing myself a big ole' party.
I confess to going on a cleaning rampage last night for the sole reason that when I get back from Louisville on Sunday, I can catch up on the nest/facebook (guilt free) while the mister is out of town.
I confess (in advance) to getting sh!tshow drunk at some point this (or all) weekend in Lville with Samantha. Not apologizing, just confessing...
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.
One&Only Palmilla - Los Cabos, Mexico
I hope it snows for BIL's wedding this weekend. His FI made some snide remarks a while back when we (the rest of the family) asked what they would do if there was a blizzard and his family couldn't make it. (His family is traveling, hers is in town.) She told us that wouldn't be such a bad thing. We're forecast to get snow on Fri. into Sat. morning - not enough to prevent travel but the sloppy, slushy stuff that will ruin bridal attire.
Along the same lines, I find it interesting that according to DH, several friends and family members have told BIL that his FI is "OK for a first wife" and before our wedding they told DH to do whatever it takes to keep me. I win!
I bought a new pair of shoes on Sat. and although they felt great at the time, they are killing my feet now. I may need to go shopping again for a new pair.
I confess that on my way to the kitchen to get a napkin for my pistachio shells, I passed a pack of donuts and did not walk away from them empty handed.
ETA: And now I'm eating the pistachios, too.

LOL Mames! Don't worry, IRL Samberg would be all over that ish!!
Have fun in KY Choo!
I confess that I went to therapy last night for a second session because two weeks ago I was feeling overwhelmed with work, pregnancy, etc., and I left relieved that I don't really need to go anymore. Not just because I was feeling better but because I was judgy of the therapist and thought I would have done a better job in her seat. (I'm a clinical psychologist, btw)
I confess that there are times when I totally milk the fatigue of pregnancy for all its worth so DH will do more around the house.
