I miss the City..

Cincinnati that is. More and more everyday.

I'll be honest..I haven't really given Dayton a chance.

Now, don't get me wrong. I am very thankful that DH has an amazing job with an amazing company. I feel blessed that we live 5 minutes away from my parents, and I have made some great friends here that I love dearly.

I'm just in a funk..and I miss Cincinnati.

Re: I miss the City..

  • Where are you in Dayton?  We're just east of downtown and DH is having a hard time adjusting.  He grew up in rural Colerain Township-his family even raised cows on their property!  Hang in there.

  • I completely understand. I grew up in Dayton and move to Cincinnati for 7 years for undergrad and grad school. Then my DH and I both got jobs in Dayton and I moved back. I'd much rather be in Cincinnati.
  • You know--every time I visit Dayton I have a great time.  I think the grass is always greener!  I think summer in Dayton is WAY better than winter.  There will be baseball games, and fun times, festivals, lots of things.  Just hang in there!
  • We live North of Dayton in Tipp City.

Timmys...you nailed it. Maybe it is just the winter blues..I always forget about the fun festivals and spring/summer festivities. Thanks :)
