Dog & husband free to a good home

I jumped out of a nice warm bed last night b/c I heard a munching sound downstairs.  Lily was eating a freshly opened bag of potato chips that dh left on the dining room table.  In the last month she's snatched several bags of buns, got a bag of Doritos stuck on her head, munched on dh's pack of cigarettes (don't even get me started on that one), and ate several more bags of chips.  Someone can't remember to put his snacks back in the pantry.  I'm not naming any names, but I will say that Doritos make me want to hurl.   So if you want a big furry, bed hogging dog and a second furry, bed hogging husband drive by my house tonight.  They'll both be waiting on the front porch.  I'll throw in a couple of bags of Doritos too.

Re: Dog & husband free to a good home

  • Ha! I think it's a man thing. My DH leaves things on the table all of the time & he doesn't get why I get so mad.  Umm hello we have a dog that will get into it. He usually tries to hide the evidence before I find out.

  • Haha. The title of this post made me laugh out loud before I even opened it.
  • HAHA - that would be so frustrating! After DH left chocolate from his stocking out on Christmas in 2008, we had to stand in the yard and give our dogs peroxide. DH hasn't left any snacks out :)

  • Yup, I've done the peroxide thing (she ate two sticks of butter once, another time she ate all of the raw yeast rolls I made for Thanksgiving).  At least I've (mostly) learned my lesson.  I think I'm going to have a talk with DH tonight.  The dog's going to end up at the vet and we're wasting too much money on her snacking habit.  He needs to be more aware or I'm going to stop buying snacks.  I'd really like to just put the chips back and wait for him to finish him before I tell him that I found the dog with her head in the bagDevil

  • Tell him he can do whatever he wants with his own body, but you won't be having a dog that needs meds for high cholesterol!
  • lol aw!  thanks for a good laugh :)
  • Just too funny! Sometimes I think the same thing we my DH and 2 dogs. Smile
  • Daves_sweetpea.

You always have the funniest things to say :) Yeah, my DH is always leaving snacks out too! The most recent thing he did was just leave the darn pretzel bag open & out the counter. Luckily, my Golden doesn't go on the kitchen counter or the table or she'd be in big trouble!
