Happy St. Patty's Day

Are you wearing your green? Doing anything to celebrate?

I have a green shirt on and it's jeans day at work so I get to be comfy!  No special plans for anything else though.

Re: Happy St. Patty's Day

  • No green.. although I guess I should since these days I technically do have a little bit of Irish in me at all times! hahaha

I'm making shepherd's pie for dinner tonight. That's it though!

    LOL!

No green for me today.  I always feel goofy wearing it on purpose.  I don't wear red on Valentine's day either.  I do have my corned beef and cabbage ready for lunch and dinner tonight.  And probably lunch and dinner tomorrow, too, since DH doesn't like it.

  • Happy ST. Patcrick's Day!  I am still in my pajamas....ha ha ha
  • I'm wearing green, though it's more of a sea foam green, not a kelly green.

My labmates will probably be drinking later this afternoon so I may stay a little late and hang out.

  • I'm wearing a green t-shirt right now but will have to change once I get to work. Tonight, DH and I are going out with an army buddy of his and his fiancee in Worcester.
  • green shirt, green socks, green earrings.

But no Irish food- I'll be stuck at work late, so dinner is either yogurt at work, or leftover chicken soup at home. However...

I found this that might be useful for those who plan to cook tonight, but are still looking for recipes:

And I'm making Smitten Kitchen's irish soda bread scones and Cooking Light's (March issue) beef and guinness stew for dinner on Friday.?

  • Happy St. patrick's Day!! ?irinn go br?ch :-)

I'm wearing a black dress with a green sweater. Well, it's more a blue-green, but I can't fit into any of my green sweaters or shirts!!

We'll have an Irish dinner tonight- bangers and mash and cabbage... yum. I'm not really a fan of corned beef. Oh and Irish soda bread too. Though wamozart- those scones sound yummy!

  • I forgot all about St. Patrick's Day but happen to be wearing a green shirt anyway.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • I will be wearing green later.

I overslept, ran into the shower, and got onto calls this morning. So I am in sweat pants and a white tee. I will put a green cardigan over it and some jeans on to go out!

  • I made shepherd's pie last night for Dh! And I wore a green cardigan today...and I had some beer tonight in celebration.. and I'm thinking of my bff who is Irish and is probably face down in a glass of Jameson by now, lol.
