Pet grooming recs in south or central Austin?
Need to take my dog in for a haircut. It's been awhile since at his last haircut at petsmart, they cut his nails way too short causing him to bleed. It was somewhat traumatizing, so I need a new place. Any recs for south or central Austin that take really good care of the dogs?

We just go for nail clippings - but I love the staff at Groomindales on Koenig(2222). I've gone to them for about 2 yrs for nail clippings and they always clip/grommel them and they havent ever made her bleed. I'm not a fan of Petsmart (SPM in specific) either, they practically shaved my Sheltie against my directions AND didn't follow instructions to call me if he got nervous/upset. He was throwing up in a kennel for a good amount of time before anyone called me, and he was a nervous wreck for days afterward.
We go to Dirty Dog @ Manchaca & Wm Cannon. Griffin always looks great after a visit.

Barking Bubble on Manchaca and Slaughter
My dog went here and actually was happy going in...and when I picked him up!! I was sooooo nervous...and he did soooo well. I was sooo surprised that he wasn't afraid.....because everytime we go into Petsmart he begins to shake ...and I think it was from his first experience there.
