I'm new to all of this...
Hi everyone...
I have never really posted on any kind of board in my life. But after lurking on the boards on The Nest, I decided it looks pretty fun! I had an account on theknot and apparently once we got married it qualified me for this! The knot was always a bit overwhelming to me because I never wanted the HUGE wedding with all the details(it was actually an email from them reminding me my wedding was in 6 months back in november that had my husband and I moving the wedding up!)
But I just wanted to say Hi! and introduce myself. My husband and I got married January 16th at my church. It was perfect and wonderful and best of all...ITS DONE!! We are actually buying a house and should be closing in 2 weeks. No kids yet...we definitely want them soon, but some things in our lives need to balance out first, mostly a job with better insurance! For now we just spoil the SNOT out of our lab/pitt mix Cali. She is such a baby!
Just wanted to say Hi somewhat formally...and you ladies all seemed really nice!

This board is great, we try to post recipes each week and we have a get-together night on Mondays where we basically just chit chat.
