Ok, I don't have an ounce of Irish in me, but isn't everyone Irish on St. Patty's day? I think so! Well, at least we are in my family and have been for many years!
Mom is making corned beef, cabbage and boiled potatoes along with home made Irish soda bread...YUMMO!
Do you celebrate SPD? If so, what do you do (ex. cook, go to the parade)?
Have a wondeful day all!
Re: Happy St. Patty's day!
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you Bonnie! Everyone is Irish today!
Last year I went to a bar, this year no real plans. But I am going out tomorrow night to make up for it.

DH and i are fairly Irish; he says our last name is Irish and my mom's maiden name is McDonough. And we're both pale and sunburn easily...
And when i dye my hair red people ask me if i'm Irish.
But we don't celebrate SPD. He did wear green today though, but i didn't. I did venture in towards Midtown to meet former work friends for lunch, and got super annoyed at all the people milling about!!

We usually do celebrate - by making corned beef & cabbage and such, but DH and I had a regular dinner and movie at home.
I have Irish Soda bread that I made a few weeks ago in the freezer - all ready and waiting to be a postpartum snack!
I went to a bar with some friends and had a few Guinnesses yesterday afternoon?
And no I am not Irish at all. I just like going to the bar in the middle of the afternoon.
