Hey everyone!
I used to post on my local and club boards (and a couple national boards) on TK, but now we're married and I wanted to start checking out how the nest is!
We got married on January 23 in Arlington, VA, and we still live in Arlington! I work for the Census Bureau (so please ask me any Census-related questions!), and my husband works for an apartment company and leases apartments (but he's looking for a political job).
Ask me any questions! I hope that I'll stick around for a while!
Re: Hi, all!
welcome to the nest! Most of us here are from the knot's january 2010 board (i think your name/siggy looks familiar!), and although its been a little slow...the girls on here are great!
we have a recipe swap on sundays, and a virtual get together at 8pm (eastern) on Mondays!

Thanks for the welcome, you guys!
Melko, thank you for letting me know about the recipe swap and the virtual get together! They're such great events! I can't wait!
Hi Panda (I think I remember you from TK)! I moved to Arlington from my college years at the University of Miami. I thought I had changed all of my stats on TK; maybe it didn't transfer over to the Nest? Anyways, it's fixed now! I'm not exactly sure what Ross is, I'm sorry! Is it a university in Miami? Congrats on your move at any rate, and if you have any questions about the area, feel free to ask me!

Your SN is familiar but I can't recall anything specific
Anyway, Ross University is a med school that has a campus in Miami (they have a lot of campuses around the world and you move around depending what semester you're in). I think it's next to the University of Miami and we have an apartment on the edge of Coral Gables, which I think is a good area. I'll let you know if I have questions about the area, maybe if you know a good vet where we can board our cat for a couple days?
