Hey! I saw your reply in my vacation post. What are you guys planning to do in Ixtapa? I honestly know zilch about the place, but I want to do something really fun while we're there... well I want to do something really fun at all of our ports! lol. How long are you guys going to be there?
Re: ::Jenni/smilz::
Hey!!!
All that I really know about the area at this point is that our resort is within walking distance to markets, shops, restaurants, etc. I've been scouting out Trip Advisor and have thought about posting something on the Nest's Travel board to see if anyone has suggestions for us. We're staying at an AI, but we will definitely be exploring the area. We're going for a week with my MoH and her hubby.
If I hear of anything, I'll be sure to let you know! Are you going next Jan? If so, then I'll be a pro and can give you all kinds of info when we get back.

Yes, our cruise leaves on Jan. 7 so we will actually get to celebrate our anniversary on the ship!
I know it probably doesn't seem like it would that difficult to achieve, but it wasn't easy finding a cruise that left after my dad's birthday on Jan. 3 and still had us on the ship on Jan. 8 for our anniversary. This was actually the only one I found, lol. Anywho...
Your resort sounds great! I've never done AI, but I would like to try that out someday also. I definitely want to hear all about Ixtapa and the surrounding area after you get back!
