Oddly, I feel like this week flew by. With the time change, I actually got off work every night while it was still light out, it was pretty nice change.
What is everyone getting into this weekend? We're going out to watch the Buckeyes play tonight and then driving up to Northern Ohio tomorrow for the wknd to go to the Great Lakes Brewery and hang out w/ my brother and his family. I've never been to the brewery before and heard the food & drinks are awesome, plus my company has an open tab w/ them

This weekend I'm headed to Nebraska for my grandpa's 80th birthday. While I'm excited to go, I am not excited to miss out on the great weather here. The high is only 32 degrees there tomorrow and I am so over winter!!

Even though I am working Saturday AND Sunday... and then starting another work week... lol... I still get to wear jeans to work today and that makes it a-okay. I'm excited that SPRING is starting this weekend but it is supposed to get COLD here tomorrow and I am not looking forward to that.
People - I live in Texas for a reason - and I am ready for the heat! (although once it gets to 105 I will complain about it... but whatever...)

Tonight: Dinner with old friends. Three women gabbing it up over wine and good food.
Tomorrow; Rob and I are taking a road trip. I'm taking him to a bbq joint about 2 hours away that he's never been to before. We are planning on spending the entire day together and alone.
Sunday: Cleaning and enjoying my last few moments of peace and quiet until the children return.

I'm so happy its the weekend. Aaron and I are going to look at a few more homes this weekend. Other than that I plan on buying the New Moon DVD and watching that (I know I'm a loser)

Saturday: Meeting up with 3 of my h.s. friends and their DH's/FIs for dinner and Second City - love Second City my stomach always hurts from laughing so hard!
Sunday: running the Shamrock Shuffle (8k.) The weather forecast right now is sucky so please send vibes for descent weather

I'm going to a scrapbooking crop tomorrow with one of my friends while the hubs hits the golf course for the first time this season. Sunday we're hitting BRU to work on the registry again. I'm not looking forward to this!

Today I'm mainly running a bunch of errands & hoping I can kick this cold by tomorrow.
My SIL's baby shower is on Sunday. I told her I am hoping to be there, but if I still have this cold I won't be there. I feel really bad because, well I am pretty sure I won't be feeling well enough to go on Sunday. I just know how my body is and I always have colds for a full week, which means I probably won't be fully over this until Tuesday. I just don't see the point in going and getting everyone else sick.

DH has his drumline in State Prelims this weekend. They've won all but the first show, and I'm a little nervous for that streak this weekend.
This will be the LAST weekend for a while that the ILs come up and stay with us. This will be their 3rd time in a month and a half. I know DH loves the support from them for his drumline kiddos, but I'm ready to have a weekend to ourselves once in a while!
