AW: Yay, new stuff!
Woo hoo, after weeks of searching, we finally found the perfect couch & loveseat today. We got a great deal at Carson's at Yorktown. And $500 under budget! Here is a pic of the showroom model (ours will be minus the poodle pillow).

Then we went out test driving cars & ended up leasing a brand new Acura TL in a sexy Moroccan red. It's so much nicer than our current car, and the people at the dealership were SOOO good to us. Really good customer service & they let us take the car with no money down.

So all in all, it's been a fabulous day! Now if I could just get myself one of those pesky job things, we'd be all set...

Things are going well, thanks for asking. We are still working on getting unpacked. DH is loving his new job so far, and I'm still working on getting myself a job.
It is so GREAT to be back to city life again! I'm originally from Minneapolis, and have just been living in a fairly small town in Iowa for the last year. Now instead of driving for an hour and a half to get to the mall, I have 2 within 5 minutes! Which could spell trouble...

Jaimes57; I dont normally get involved in discussions like this - but I want to warn you as a new person on this local board; that GOIN is our local batcrazy poster so please do not disclose any personal info on this board. She starts off "helpful" then loses her marbles. Just an FYI; and I am sure when she sees this message warning you - she'll freak again. There are also many others on here who are normal, helpful and looking for jobs - and I am sure they'd share info with you. Good luck with your search.
