Hocking Hills Recos

I know several of you have rented cabins in the Hocking Hills area so I wanted to see what cabin rental places you'd recommend?  Our 2-year anniversary is coming up and we usually go to Gatlinburg, but with all of the road construction going on everywhere down there this year, we're not going.  I'm really bummed so I thought Hocking Hills might be a good alternative.  Thanks!

We stayed in Racoon Run, and it was really nice!  It was a little big for just us, but they had a deal and it was just a little more than the one bedroom cabins we found elsewhere.  If the little old man checks you in (with a bottle of wine and cookies), ask him about the nature preserve nearby.  We were the only ones there, and there were three waterfalls.  Very cool place to be on your own!

  • The iris villa...right in the middle of everything.... not far from town and close to hocking hills state park.. just a cottage for two. 300 for weekend but we took our dog so it was a extra 25.00. Has hot tub, fire ring, gas grill,. very nice, only downfall was shower only, was huge enough for two. hot tub made up for it. won't be disappointed.
  • We've stayed at  www.hockinghillscabins.com  twice and loved it both times!! Have fun!
