Weekend plans?

anyone got anything fun going on this weekend?

I'm going meet my parents at the Forest Hill festival today (nursery festival - as in plants). DH's work has a booth there so that's where he'll be all weekend. Elise and I will be working in the yard and playing. I'm inheriting a sewing machine (a VERY old one!) today so I think I might have to make a run to the fabric store because I want to try to make curtains. I want to do a black toile with a strip of black fabric on top. I saw a shower curtain at Target like this so I want to try to do it for my laundry room.

That's all I got!

Just finishing up some BR stuff (packing my bag, etc). And DH and I plan to do something like a date night or whatever. Spending what little couple-only time we have left!

DH mentioned something about the Iowa Rabbit Festival. Not sure if we're doing that or going to the park with the dogs. Last weekend we brought the dogs while DH and his friend did a run. Our husky was feeling adventurous and jumped out of the back of the Explorer to chase birds before we could get the leash on. We wrangled him after a small chase. I think we may take him out to acclimate him to being outside. Poor Blitz was just so distracted.

I have no idea what we're doing. John has rehearsal both saturday and Sunday, but the weather is so beautiful we might try and spend as much time outside as we can. Having no plans sometimes can be the best.

We might go to poplarville so I can work on my thesis in the peaceful atmosphere and my husband can hunt or work at the camp. If that doesn't work out then I'm not sure what we'll do.

We have no official plans for the weekend. We have to finish up the nursery, but that's the only thing we need to do. I think we'll just play the rest by ear, I am sure we'll come up with something to do.

I have Bowl-a-Thon tomorrow morning. I cant wait last year we had soo much fun!!! and then after that we are going to the LSU baseball game it is one of blake's friend's b-day and that is what he wants to do. I am really hoping we will have time to go to the Bear Fair Saturday night.. Watersedge is playing... but we will have to see how we feel after the game

And Sunday we are going get our BM dresses for my brothers wedding.... That's All Folks.....

The husband has to go back to work this weekend *tear* so me and Norah are rocking it solo without him. Several family members have said they are coming over but none have actually committed so I guess we'll just be hanging around the house! She'll probably do some pooping while I gush about how wonderful and perfect she is.
