S/O race issues and census forms...

While googling for info on whether or not people of mixed race have any "perks" from being genetically diverse, I stumbled upon this tv program from Channel 4 in the UK.

Is it better to be mixed race?

It took me awhile to find a version I could watch online (since I'm clearly not in the UK), if anyone is interested you can watch it here  http://www.wisevid.com/play?v=7tbfA55ufA6b.It is 47.5 minutes long, so you'll need a decent window to watch it.

It is really fascinating (and talks a bit about Latin populations, although mostly about Brazil), and I know there are a few other "genetically diverse" couples on the board :).

It gives me high hopes for Baby J!

Re: S/O race issues and census forms...

  • I can't watch it at work, but I'm just going to butt in and say that I think mixed race babies/kids/people are generally the most beautiful! My cousin (white) has a son whose Dad was black (she's a single mom) and he is just GORGEOUS.
