Dear Community,

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Okay, so this probably belongs over on the crafts board, but there are way too few knitters over there--disappointing. You guys are seriously the best board on The Nest, so I'll share with you.
This beast of a project took forever on teeny tiny needles, but since the yarn is a deliciously soft angora, I minded a lot less. Plus, the result is totally worth it:

(Sorry for the lack of head in the picture. I was planning to use the image on another, more anonymous website).

This! You should start a store on Etsy.
You did an incredible job!!!
I have only been able to knit a scarf. I'm in awe that this is a handmade sweater! GREAT WORK!!!
My Wedding Bio! Not updated in a LONG time!
Practice, practice, practice. I took a class in college and have been doing it nonstop ever since.
I am actually in the works of setting up on Etsy, but I want to build a bit of an inventory first. I have a few more ideas I want to complete and then I'll open!
If you guys want to see more, I keep a blog about my finished objects. I'll announce an Etsy opening (if/) when that happens there, since I'm not allowed to here.

I'm flattered you think I'm fast enough to sell a sweater like that on Etsy! It took me about 3 weeks and hours and hours of work--I would have to charge waay more than you'd be willing to pay to make it worthwhile. The plan is to make much smaller things like gloves, hats, and scarves.

MY BLOG!
Man you have some talent! Maybe I need to pass this picture along to my husband's grandma so I won't get yet another 12in red, furry, scarf for Christmas.
I'm seriously jealous of your mad skill.

I'm so impressed! It is beautiful.
Perhaps we can come up with some code word for when your etsy store is open? Then the knot gods might now figure it out
.

That should work. Thanks to all of you for being so supportive about this! You really inspired me to get back into designing things for the shop. I've got some good ideas for a couple of berets and a pair of gloves now.
