Why is McCain spending money on TV ads in CA?

I mean he cant think he has a chance at winning here, right? Its just seems odd that he would spend money on primetime adds here.

    After seeing 3 McCain ads in the space of a half hour yesterday I'm wondering the same thing.   Is CA in play all of a sudden?

    I've seen a lot of ads in MD too, but they're all during my ABC soaps. I'm wondering if it's just b/c they're national, but I thought they only did these locally. I was wondering the same thing b/c we're very blue here as well. Anyone know how this works?

    But here's another thought...are you seeing these ads on national networks like CNN? Or on your local networks, like your local NBC? I know some national networks make you purchase national ad buys and you cannot specify certain markets.

    THis makes me LOL just becuase Hollywood is so liberal. I can see a handful of people showing up. Kelsey Grammer, John Voigt & Dennis Hooper...

    I cant keep them straight either...but I think Billy is the born again evangelical nutso. (Only nutso becuase of how he acts, not becuase he is evangelical)
