positive vibes please...
My best friend for many years and my roomate in college has a "little" brother who loves basketball with a passion. I say "Little" because he was always a really big kid. A lot of people told him he was too fat, too slow..and that he would never play basketball. By the time HS rolled around, he started getting noticed by a lot of schools, but had a hard time finding a college that fit him academically and athletically. Eventually he found a small liberal arts college that gave him the support he needed and helped him excel at basketball. He has played his heart out for 4 years and is now leading his team to the Sweet 16!!!!!!!! It makes me so happy to know someone who has worked so hard for their dream despite so much adversity. And I am so stoked for his family- Their mom worked her arse off to raise 3 kids by herself- she is by far one of the most amazing women I know, and I am who I am today because of knowing her. It's so amazing to see that good things really do happen to good people who work for it.
Anyway, my request is for some vibes that his dream ( and his family's dream) continues to come true. He will probably get to play in the NBA now and have an awesome career. But, ever since he was a little boy, all he cared about was getting to the final four, so can ya spare some vibes that he get the chance to play in it?
I don't want to be all AW ( as if this post isn't enough of that already) and say what his name is, or what school he plays for, but if you could all just put some ::::dreams come true::: vibes out there, that would be awesome
