Hi ladies, happy Monday! How was everyone's weekend?
I took a vacation day from work today after running an 8k yesterday. We had so much fun even though it was 34 degrees! I swore to myself that yesterday would be my last race since since I'm not a fan of pavement running, but it's so addicting. Now I want to do a 10k!

I just signed up for my first race of the season here, I just hope I can make it through the rest of my training without sidelining myself (damn shinsplints!) but the 10 km is an easy route and I hope it's warm by then.
We fixed a potential deck issue, I gave in to dh and watched Avatar and put together my dd's 'big girl bed' complete with princess accessories.

My weekend was so-so. Saturday we found our bunny had passed away, so I have been an emotional pregnant lady since then. I got a bit more mat shirts to wear and got 4 bags of baby clothes that we have went through already.

I spent most of my weekend laying low since I've been sick.
boo! It was still a relaxing weekend though, which was nice... plus for some reason this weekend seemed really long - which is doubley nice. 
I hope I get over this cold soon. I know three people who had the same thing and it took them all over a week to completely kick it. Ugh. I really hope DH doesn't catch it!

we had a great weekend and my weekend got better when mr. boss man woke me on sunday asking if i can fly to kauai on saturday for a week. um, yes please!
