How was Everyone's Weekend?
We had beautiful weather, but I didn't really take advantage of it. I cleaned the house and we did a bunch of work around it. We did walk to a restaurant Friday and Sunday nights for dinner and ate outside. I LOVE dining al fresco.

Re: How was Everyone's Weekend?
how nice!
Friday I went to the festival with my parents, as previously mentioned. Saturday I just hung out in the yard and let Elise play with her playhouse and Sunday I made homemade cinnamon rolls for my BIL's gf's family, because her grandma passed away so I wanted them to have something easy for their breakfast today, before they leave for the services. Then a friend came over and we did a lot of talking because they're having some problems and then we ate leftover spaghetti, that's it!
it was good. The weather sucked, but I did get my fruit trees planted!!
We are giving our 24 year old "family" horse to a little boy who is autistic, so he and his parents came out yesterday and met the family and the horse. Its heartbreaking to see Doc not here, but I'm thankful that Doc can teach this little boy how to ride. We have had Doc since he was 2 years old, and if it werent for him Gatlin would have never learned how to ride. He is the most patient and understanding animal I have ever been around. We did agree that when Doc cant be rode any longer and is nearing death that he would be brought back out here so we could be with him when he dies, or if he has to be put down. Its sad to think about that though
Well, I got a lot of gardening done Saturday. I'll AW with a PIP.
It's almost done...I have a few more flowers to add to it, but there are heirloom tomatoes, super fantastic tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapenos and herbs with companion plants/flowers in there to keep the pests away (hopefully).
I wanted to finish this garden and the side garden Sunday but I'm SO not a cold weather person, so I was lazy.

Quite nice. Just hung out with my gorgeous daughter all weekend. Can you tell I'm smitten with her? My mom came to see her on Saturday and all my inlaws came on Sunday. FIL made gumbo since it was freakishly cold for the first weekend of spring.
