and how was your weekend?
...mine was nice... relaxing... and tons done.
Got taxes 'done' -yah!... DH just needs to sign them...
Talked about AND expanded our veggie garden... it's about 1/2 way done. Just needs some boards for the back-against the fence-and dirt...and plants! I am exhausted from shoveling up the grass and replanting it... But we created a 25' area that we weren't using (the dog wasn't even using it).
Rented Julie & Julia-it was MUCH better than the book! I was disappointed in the book, but glad I saw the movie! Also, caught up on my LOST episodes and I'm almost out with March Madness, too. oh well.
Re: and how was your weekend?
Weekend was pretty good. The weather was nice so on Saturday we went to the botanical gardens and the park. For dinner we went out for bahn mi and pho and took a long walk to get ice cream.
Saturday night was interesting thanks to the d-bags next door.
Sunday we went to the Knicks game with J's brother and father, which was nice. Sunday night we did laundry, caught up on Project Runway, and got take out.
And now it's Monday and I'm thinking maybe we should move even further up North into the mountains so I can become a hermit and never have to deal with the outside world again.
Weekend was...eh...ok
Friday- We took Snap to the pasture where Cash is and let him run around. He loved it.
Saturday- I bought facia for our house and painted it, DH and some of his buddies put it up. I was a butt load of clothes. Went to a wedding. DH got out of the wedding becasue he said he would finish cleaning what I didn't get to saturday, he did not. He is still in the dog house for this. He tried to make up for it sunday and made the outside look nice but still didn't do jack squat inside.

My weekend was pretty blah.
Friday DH and I met up with a friend for dinner. We were home by 9PM and I was passed out on the couch by 10PM
Saturday the weather was glorious but unforntunately I spent most of the day in grad school class. Then I had to come home and change and head out to my Godson's b-day party.
Sunday I woke up with a huge headache so I laid around until noon then finally did some cleaning and laundry. We went over MIL's house in the evening for dinner,
And now it's Monday. Just have to get through the week though and then I have 9 days off for Spring break!
My weekend was pretty great actually.
Friday: I got home at a reasonable hour and watched some tv with DH and relaxed. Then we had friends over and hungout. Plus, we did a little roasting to build up our inventory for recent orders.
Saturday: Dh and I went to the park and had a picnic. It was a beautiful day and it was so fun to sit and chat and watch the water fall. Afterward we went to a friends house for a little while. Then the guys went to our house to play games and the girls went to an event - http://www.wearefeelinglucky.com/. It was really cool! We were apart of the red O. Then we went to dinner at a new place I'd never been and then went to hangout with the guys.
Sunday: We have a family dinner every week for DH's cousin and close friends. We made homemade mac n chesse which was awesome! After hanging out a bit, we had to roast and fill all out orders for Monday.
My weekend was busy and tiring.
I left early to get to my Aunts house to help her run around and set up for my cousins suprise party. Then I found out that we were V.I.P.ed for a club up in NH for that night by a pro-boxer (in case any of you know who the boxer Mickey Ward is, it was his nephew). My 2 cousins and their friend went down to RI to see his fight Friday night and were VIPed to an after party down there and they were partying at a club in NH Saturday night and were invited for VIP there as well (I was obviously also invited, they later also invited my brother since he was with us). We got to the club and there was open bar and champagne on the table with fresh strawberries awaiting us with a ton of people I didn't know, so needless to say I was uncomfortable for most of the night. I'm also not a huge "club scene" person so I was also bored most of the night, I volunteered to be the DD so I didn't drink either. My cousin got trashed which made the END of the night quite hilarious. Watching a bunch of drunk people act like fools was the highlight of my night. My brother also somehow got involved in a dance off type thing (everyone was in a circle, and one person would go in the middle and dance off with someone else), that was interesting. I'll give my brother that, he's a really good dnacer and always manages to get people to crowd around him.
Yesterday was boring, my cousin and her friend were lazy and literally laid in bed ALL day, they watched New Moon a gazillion times (I was not interested so I didn't bother I also haven't even seen Twilight). We had to go to my Aunt's late that afternoon for my cousins birthday dinner so I didn't get to go home until around 6pm.
Needless to say I'm freakin' tired.

Friday we went to the IL's house for dinner! Very tasty!
Saturday I worked at the invite shop then we went to the IL's house again because SIL and her FI were in town. We were suppsoed to go to dinner at 6, Well SIL didnt want to eat at 6 because she had just had lunch and didnt want to go to dinner til like 8 or 9.... I HAVE to eat dinner no later then 7 otherwise I get waaaaaaaay cranky and get a bad headache. Well she wouldnt budge and was being a brat about it, so we left and went and had wendys for dinner
s lame.
Sunday my brother came over and he and I worked on the master bedroom walk in closet!!! I am soooooo excited! Just need to so some touch up paint and then it is ready to roll! FINALLY we can use that closet, we've only been in the hosue almost a YEAR! oi!
Friday I spent prepping for my office's Open House & Pet Adoption. Went to bed and couldnt sleep . . . keep thinking it would be horriffic if we had all these dogs for adoption and no one showed up to see them.
Sat was at the office by 7 putting the final touches on. Everything turned out fantastic. The shindig started at 9, and we had a line out the door waiting to come in by 8:15. (We had a lot of freebies people wanted.) We were bombarded the entire time . . . it was fabulous!
Went to our cities Dog Day Afternoon later that day . . . there must have been 400 dogs there! It was a ton of fun and hopefully we will get some new clients out of it.
Sunday I spent at home with R and Bebe. Took an almost 3 hour nap curled up around Bebers . . . pure and total bliss.
Woke up this morning with Bebe and brought her to bed with us . . . snuggled with her for another hour or so . . . now I have to go to work. Darnit!
Since it's been so nice out, I've been running! I'm so proud of myself because I hate it lol but it gets me better results than doing videos. I ran wed-fri and walked sat. DH was off sunday, so we went to see alice! It could have been better. It looked really cool, but the storyline was a little slow. Ah, 3D. All pretty pictures and little content.
Last night we were on the couch, I was laying with my head in DH's lap - he was playing w/my hair. I dozed off and the next thing I know I just about jump off the couch because the cat bit my toe!! My foot was under a pillow and I guess my toes were sticking out a little - he likes to go after your fingers when they're sticking out from under blankets or whatever and I guess that was the plan. He never bites hard, he's just playing, but since it scared me and I jerked my foot back so hard, it broke the skin and now I have a slice all down my second toe! It hurt SO MUCH! So now I can't walk normally - or run. Grrr
