Can i AW my DH?
DH bought me a MacBook just cause! 
its by far the most expensive just because gift ever; the most expensive gift yet other than my e-ring. I've been talking about buying a Mac for two years now but could never justify the expensive so he solved the problem for me and got me one! yay!
Now I have to learn to use a Mac and buy new software SOOO excited about it! I really wanted to bring it to work and play with it!

thanks! i've been using google like crazy! it took me like 10 minutes to figure out how to access my camera memory card after I hooked it up yesterday
there's a definite learning curve when you're switching from a PC!
How fun! I've definitely been wanting one for a long time too, especially since my old desktop Mac died. We have a computer savings fund going on, so it could happen eventually.
Any updates on that neat job opp. for your DH w/ the private plane people?

ps- A&M students can get lots of Mac software CHEAP. I bought a disc of the Microsoft Office suite for $5 through a cousin who is a student there . The Computer Center also has some other software available too I think. You provide a disc and they'll burn it for you I believe. HTH!

he had another meeting this weekend though regarding another opportunity that could possibly coincide with that one (which is our ideal scenerio) but we won't know anything til this Fall! sigh. God is really trying to teach me patience this year

oh good to know. i'll have to check it out. i wish they gave the same deals to faculty and staff! i always have to try to find a student who will buy stuff for me
congrats! we bought a mac desktop last thxgiving and we love it. we also bought one to one classes ($99 for one yr) and it's awesome. we just went together last week and learned how to put a movie together.

you have to sign up fairly quickly, I think it's one month, from when you purchased your mac so if this is something you want to do, I suggest doing it asap. the people at the store are super helpful, too.
