Seems like NPR is calling it a tie

I listened to it online b/c my DH is watching football.

Most everyone thinks they both did pretty well but also both made mistakes.

Oh wait, someone just said he thinks Biden won it.  So 2 say - tie; 1 says Biden. This guy is also pointing out Palin not answering questions.

Re: Seems like NPR is calling it a tie

  • CNBC said the same thing a few seconds ago.
  • Guy #4 is lighting into her basically saying she was only going to answer what she was coached to answer.  I'm sorry but I'm not paying attention enough to know who is saying what.

  • FOX has some sort of focus group that is overwhelmingly loving her.  I know it's FOX, but wow.  Several undecideds said it moved them toward McCain.

CNN has a focus group with the exact opposite reaction. Surprise, surprise!

  • Thank god the mainstream media doesn't have their monopoly anymore. I can tell you that talk radio tomorrow will be ecstatic in a way that they haven't been since Palin's convention speech.

I was absolutely ecstatic.  I thought that the only slight weakness was nervousness on her part during the climate change exchange, and she looked nervous at the beginning.

I felt Biden looked uncomfortable, tired, and old at times.  Ironic, don't you think?

I think Palin's the change I've been waiting for.

Julie - I don't agree with you one iota, BUT, I respect your opinion. I do have a question.  In all honesty - if Biden, Obama, or any other democrat running for POTUS or VP could not name a Supreme Court case they disagreed with, you would have NO problem with it?  You'd have no snark???? Not even a little bit?  Not even a side long glance?

I have a a VERY hard time believing that.
