Follow Up to Marriage Prep Courses
Hi Ladies,
I don't know if you remember but I posted a month or two ago asking if any of you went to marriage prep courses and if so did you like it.
Well FH and I had the course this past weekend and I was SOOO impressed. The things we learned was amazing and so beneficial. The person who held the courses is a registered therapist who specializes in marriage counselling and I totally feel like it was money well spent.
Even though we do not have any issues right now I am pretty sure his advice will come in handy down the road.

glad it went well. We did the catholic ones that are required and while DH and I didn't 'need' it, i thought it was a good excuse to talk about things we hadn't talked about in ages. I saw some couples who had never talked about certain issues and thought that it was a good thing for them too.
I believe that once people get engaged it is too often only about the wedding and doing a marriage course would benefit most people. If nothing else prompt them to think long term and not just about one day.
