Who misses my decor posts?
You're in luck.
Mood board for the living room as influenced by my last LR post. The colors of the couches are a bit off, and I'm guessing the paint color is close.

I like the white sofa better than the tan one. It has much cleaner lines, while the tan sofa is slightly outdated with the overstuffed curves.
The marroon looks really good and I like the splash of fun with the polka dotted pillows.
The pictures of the sofas were meant to be show the color palette of my existing furniture. I have a sandy beige microfiber sofa and a loveseat and recliner in mocha (darker than what's pictured here really).

Are the solid pillows showing as maroon? It should be more of a plummy purple.

I was concerned about the white too, but for now they're already there, which means I don't have to pay for new ones yet! And it may complement the white trim.
hawki - the seller couldn't go lower, so basically we're paying an additional $3750 but taking 6k off our mortgage. In order to offset that unexpected upfront cost, we're putting down less of a down payment. Creative math. It sucks, but at least we're still on track to have the house.

I like this idea. It does look plum-purpley, although with the range of colors on the polka dotted pillow, you could match many jewel tones in the room.
Nope, nothing yet! We've been looking at paint swatches, but we have pretty much all crappy mismatched hand-me-down furniture right now, so we don't really have a good starting point design-wise. It'd be nice to plan it all at once, but we need to get the pup trained before we go spending a fortune on new furniture/rugs/etc.
