  • I couldn't agree with you girls more.  I feel like this day is dragging on.  I just want to lie under my desk and take a snappy nap.

  • I almost wish work were crazy right now.  I'm so bored!  That, the rain, and the leavings of a cold make me want to curl up under my desk, too.

  • My boss is out of town, so we all have a little room to breathe. Me and my coworkers went to lunch. Which was splendid. Weather is beautiful too.
  • Here, kinda.  Just blah.  Yesterday's discovery left me feeling violated and sick.  I didn't share yesterday but will now.  I stayed at home because I was drop-dead exhausted.  I slept in and thought I would take a nap again mid-afternoon but never got the chance because I discovered someone stole one of my CC numbers and did a cash advance for an amount over the limit--Capital One approved it.  I never got a call saying, "We've noticed you're trying to take out a cash advance greater than your credit limit and this is the first time you've used your account in 6+ months," or, "Ms. Munkii, are you trying to take out a cash advance in Detroit?  We notice you don't even live there."  Nothing...so, I had to work them in closing it and starting a fraud charge.  Plus, I had to go to my bank to ensure a payment isn't made on it--the theif made a payment on the fraudulent charge and we're guessing it was with my linked checking account.  As of yesterday there was no withdrawal, but a stop has been put on my account for the amount the atv said the payment was for.

That was long, but I'm angry and had to vent.  Peoples are beeeeetches and need to get over their feelings of entitlement.  If you think you have the right to steal from someone, you have no business living...end of story.

    Matt loves Munkii!!!

    Same.

    Same here too.

They got rid of our scanner in here and I've got tons of stuff to do so I'm just sitting here staring at the computer waiting for an email from another department saying I can use theirs. Sad

Yeah, we're had problems twice with our debit cards and identity theft.  I completely understand the anger, especially when you work so hard to get somewhere financially and someone comes and feels they can just take it away.  It sucks bigtime!

    Same.

    Me three.

I wanted to post in "Terrific Tuesday" but I really couldn't think of anything terrific about today. I am a Debbie Downer today.

And I'm so sorry about your account drama, munkii. People are awful! I hope everything works out soon.

People are azzfaces.  And I am appauled at Capital One and their lack of due diligence.  I hope you gave them an earful and that everything works out soon!

  • Munkii, that blows! Good thing you caught it quickly and were able to work with everyone to put some stops in place. Feel free to vent whenever!

I'm here...just meh today. Trying to get some work done and looking at baby names like a freak.

Sorry Munkii....want me to beat them up for you?  Same thing happened to us in December.  They stole our debit card numbers twice.  I hate people who steal...off with their head....
