Way TMI discussion/poll

My coworker and I are at odds over this subject so I thought I'd ask you all to weigh in. Sorry if this subject is a little TMI, but I feel like I can ask you ladies anything Stick out tongue

Does your man landscape (we're talking totally shaved) his parts and do you like it? My coworker's BF does and most of the men she's dated do and she's into that. Me on the other hand, while I expect it to be groomed up, would never want it bald. DH did it once (he'd kill me if he knew I told you that...lol) and we both decided that hit wasn't that great of an idea.

Thoughts?

Re: Way TMI discussion/poll

  • Wow, I don't think I knew that guys did that.  Maybe I'm naive?  That being said, groomed? yes, bald? no.
  • There are no pubs in my house.  I get really grossed out when I see one on the toilet because I know it doesn't belong to us.  Really, I don't care either way, as long as it isn't out of control.
  • I love these polls!  Sometimes I wonder if anything is ever TMI for me.  :)

To answer your question, Danny will "manscape" from time to time, which I totally appreciate.  Only a couple times has he surprised me with shaving it all, and while it's fun (or funny) for the novelty of it, I can go without it.  I guess I'm mostly ambivalent about what it looks like down there.

  • LOL - there is no such thing as TMI over here Natalie you know this!!!

    Bald?  No.  Not a fan.

Groomed?  Yes please and thank you!

  • DH has both shaved it off and just trimmed it up.  However, we have a deal...if he wants it "bald" then he has to keep it up or at least shave before sex.  Ever do the bippity when it's got stubble?  HOLY OUCHNESS!
  • Let me just say, Jordan is very random (ha!)  One day it'll be there and the next day it's not.  Not only does he do that with the hair down there but also his facial hair and head hair.  He'll just get the urge to shave everything.  I'm fine with whatever he does, I have no preference really.
  • Love it! lol.

Groomed - yes. Bald - no. I don't know that I would care either way, as long as everything is groomed. I mean... I put work into making sure I'm "presentable" so I appreciate the same consideration! LOL.

  • To funny...

I don't care as long as it's maintained.  Dh randomly shaved once time.  I told him I didn't mind if he kept it but he was to keep it up. Like Tammy said, I don't handle the stubble well. Big Smile

  • LOL, I'm cracking up reading these. I love you girls!

DH has only gone bald once or twice and it was fine right after, but after a few days the scratchiness is not fun. I prefer it to be just nicely groomed.

I actually experimented with this last week. I normally do not leave any hair, and to change it up a bit I left a little bit and thought I would see what DH thought. It was as I thought, he is not a fan of any hair on me. I can't wait until I have the money to do laser hair removal! Wink

My DH is just the opposite. There has to be some hair otherwise he says it's too much like a little kid and that makes him totally uncomfortable...lol

LOL! That was kind of my thought... I'm not much of a body hair person, but I thought it might make me look a little more adult. Oh well.

  • Not TMI at all.

IMO, some form of manscaping is a must! As for guys who take it all off all the time- you should mention to her that he must have read in a men's magazine it's a trick to make it look larger!Stick out tongue swear! I read that years ago in dh's Men's Health!

I don't like a guy bald for the same reasons I don't like being bald myself. It feels prepubesent and just grosses me out.

It DOES make it look bigger!

My friend had a boyfriend in college who refused to groom, he said 'It's the way god intended'.

Well, since the breakup this guy has been referred to as "God Crotch" in our circle. Stick out tongue

  • This is too funny.  DH doesn't manscape (that I know of) I think that since his hair is such a different texture, it's not as big of a problem.  He also doesn't care about me "grooming." I do anyway, because I feel like I have to, but he couldn't care less.
  • and he would never shave it all bald!  maybe because he knows he doesn't need it to look bigger?? Wink
