Didn't think this through very well...

Now that I've been given the green light to start easing back into normal activity, Greg and I've been trying to go for shorter walks during the evening.

Problem is... there really aren't many streets around us!  Most of them are dead ends.

Guess we hadn't really thought that through very well.  We may have to actually get in the car and GO SOMEWHERE to walk now. Tongue Tied

Re: Didn't think this through very well...

  • That stinks.  Well you can keep walking up and down various dead ends and have the people think you are casing their house ;o)

  • You could always just walk back and forth on the dead end streets. You might get some funny looks from the people that own houses on those streets but it would be pretty funny to see you and Greg just walking back and forth :)

  • We had actually thought of that,... and have seen one older couple doing just that! LOL

But it's boring. Sad  Of course, across the insanely busy main road less than a block from our place lies myriads and mazes of streets that connect.  Just not really sure we want to place "Race the cars driving much faster than the recommended 35 mph" to cross it.

  • Hmm...it would be a little silly to drive across the busy road to walk over there. Do you have any parks near you that you could walk around?

  • You guys should totally play Frogger* with yourselves and cross the road to get to the other streets.  It could be fun.  Whoever gets across fastest without being clipped gets dinner made for him/her.

    *I hope everyone remembers Frogger....

This made me laugh as I pictured playing frogger and the frogs were replaced with little paulas and gregs!

Your concern is really quite touching. Wink LOL

  • I'm just trying to make the best of your situation.  Games are always fun.  As long as no one dies.
