Palin's suit last night was awesome. She looked amazing imo.
Okay back to your political nesting.
Re: I have to get this out
100% Agreed. ?I was so glad to see a female politician in a non-red suit.
The rhinestone flag pin had to go though.?
Deductive reasoning isn't a conservative or liberal attribute. ~epphd

She could have gotten so many more bonus points if the pin had lit up. ?
Agreed. It was a hot suit.
But what was with the little Israel flag pin? My understanding is you never place another country's flag above the American flag, as it is disrespectful. No matter how sparkly your American flag is.
But it's been a long time since I was a girl scout, so maybe I am remembering incorrectly?
Whoa, I didn't even notice this!
It wasn't an Israeli flag pin.
It's a pin to recognize that she has a family member serving in the Armed Forces.
And, yes, her suit was fabulous.
?
It's the pin version of the flag you fly in your window when you have a family member deployed. ?If the family member is KIA, the star turns gold.?
Ahh ok that makes more sense.
Oh good! I was so confused, I kept squinting at the TV trying to figure out what it was. For the longest time I was convinced it was the flag of El Salvador and figured she must really like pupusas or something.
Thank you for clearing that up!
Yep - 5-pointed star filled in, not a 6-pointed star. Hard to see far away, though.
