Re: Polling: who won debate

  • Wow! These results are totally unexpected to me. Every pundit I heard last night, even on the liberal channels, said she won.
  • Ditto FBR, I am very surprised with the polls.  I really thought it would be considered a tie and therefore a win for Palin.
  • Well, yes the bar was low for her, but Biden just knocked her out of the water. ?I can't believe she just went back to one of her pull string talking points after he talked about his family. ?It's like she didn't even know that was his background before she embarked on the debate.

  • FOX viewers thought Biden won? That is shocking to me.
AlternaTickers - Cool, free Web tickers
  • After I heard pundits praising her for speaking in complete, intelligible sentences, I thought no wonder some people thought she won. The bar is set pretty low.
  • I am surprised other people thought Biden won, even though DH and I both thought he rocked it.  I was somewhat impressed with her, she spoke very intelligently on a couple of issues... but darn if she didn't avoid multiple questions.

     So did I.

  • I am pleasantly surprised by the American people. They chose to judge the debate on actual facts and who actually answered the questions. I was worried everyone would call it a win for her becuase she didnt look like a complete idiot up there.

She did fine, but I thought that Biden was the only one to really answer questions and what, specifically, an Obama/Biden administration would do about it/had done about it.

    This gives me hope.

The little commentary I did watch on NBC didnt have anyone saying she won, just that they both did waht they had to do. I am surprised so many pundits gave it to her. That makes me want to hit my head on my cubicle.
