restaurant.com question

so when you buy a gift certificate, say $10 for $25, from restaurant.com and it says minimum of $50, does that mean that on your visit to said restaurant, you have to spend $50 in order to use the gift certificate?  just wondering because although dh and i can usually order $25 worth of food, we couldn't do $50 with just the two of us.  tia! :)

Re: restaurant.com question

  • yeah, you have to order $50 worth of food - then you'll be able to use the $25 GC.

  • not all restaurants have those stipulations either... some are completely clear and free, others just have day-of-the-week restrictions (we went to estancia churrascia last night and it was just M-F), etc.

PS - if you ever decide to buy a certificate, do a google search for restaurant.com coupons.  I've never paid more than $3 for a $25 certificate (and many times you can get them for $2)

  • If you enter the promo code COOK right now, you'll get 80% off. It should be good through the end of the month. The $25 gift certificates will be $2 instead of $10.

ditto, I don't think I would pay more than $2-3 for the certs.
