A few weeks ago you mentioned a slow cooker meal that was chicken, salsa, and black beans...what amounts of these did you use and am I missing anything?

    Ok it was more than a few weeks ago but I went back and found it...I didn't remember the brown rice which I was thinking it would be good with brown rice!

    HA!  I actually made this last night!  If you are going to cook longer than 8 hours - put in more salsa.  I cooked mine for almost 9 last night and it got kind of dry but the time before I had added salsa sometime in the middle of cooking and it was great.

    Thanks for the tip...I started it at lunch since we don't eat till after Derick gets home from class.
