XP: Gardens of Park Hills or The Grand?
My younger sister is considering both locations for her reception in August of 2011, and I wanted to know if anyone had any feedback on those locations -- your own wedding, weddings you've attended -- anything? She's from OOT, so she's trying to figure out which halls to visit when she's in town in a few weeks.
TIA!

Re: XP: Gardens of Park Hills or The Grand?
I may be too late, but I wanted to offer a different perspective on the Grand. I attended two wedding there last summer and was very impressed with the space. There's an upstairs "balcony" that overlooks the main reception area. Both brides opted to have cocktails in that space. The main room has floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a view of downtown, which is absolutely beautiful.
The Gardens is a perfectly OK space, but if you're looking for something extraordinary, I'd recommend the Grand. HTH!
