Visiting Boston for one night - where to stay?
My DH and I will be in Boston for just one night on April 23rd before heading to my cousin's wedding in New Hampshire. Any suggestions for where to stay? I don't know the city at all, but we'd like to be somewhere we could go out to dinner and maybe walk around a bit.
Thanks!
Re: Visiting Boston for one night - where to stay?
Copley area is nice. There is a Marriott (Copley Place) that's really nice. (BTW, expect to spend probably $200-$300 for the night anywhere in the city). Copley is near a lot of shopping and restaurants.
There's also the Faneuil Hall area where there is shopping and in the North End (Boston's "Little Italy")
The Marriot Longwharf is also nice - it's right by the aquarium and harbor.
Also, if staying in the city is a little our of the range you were hoping to spend, there is a Holiday Inn in Brookline, right on Beacon Street and very accessible by the T. It's not really within walking distance to the downtown Boston attractions but is still really accessible and a more economical price.
