Silly question on Congressional voting
How exactly do they cast their vote? They just seem to stand around chatting. Do they have a little button at their desk, or do they wait in line for something at the front like communion?
Re: Silly question on Congressional voting
They have a voting card (like a credit card with a magnetic strip) that they swipe in a reader. I think there are readers at every desk. Then they press a button (green for aye, red for nay).
I think they can also go up to the clerk personally to record their vote.
They can go back up and switch it as many times as they want until the time runs out.
So it's like that one Price is Right game? The one where they put the prices on four items and pull the trigger. If they don't have all four right, they go at it again. LOL!

Well what if they're color blind?
