As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Never EVER apologize for what you believe in! If other people have an issue with your opinions then as far as I'm concerned, that's their problem not yours.

We all come from varying backgrounds that make up our experiences and viewpoints which makes for interesting dialogue and debate- heck, as a grad student YOU should know that!
You kept it civil (as did everyone) so I see no need to apologize or step back. Stick around and keep talking...after all, people need some distraction in their workday!
You should never apologize for sharing your opinion! That's your right! And I never thought you were being mean or anything like that.
I'm sorry if you felt like I was personally attacking you, I definitely was not trying to. We just have different view points, and personally I liked that you kept the rebuttal going. I hate it when I make a point and then the other person just backs down. Where's the fun in that?
Honestly, my trust in the government is so incredibly low there is no way you could ever make me see things your way. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. It's not you, it's me. (too corny?)

This whole health care thing is crazy - but I suppose any topic so major is going to cause craziness.
edited to add: I work in an office all day - lately generating tons of data tables...I need boards like this so can't stay away too long
