Xtina hosted in her fabulous downtown condo and we discussed the King Tut book. In a nutshell, I think the consensus was that while interesting, it was inappropriately categorized and was more fiction than non, severely lacking of references. And JPatterson's editor definitely should have deleted the offensive first person bragging scattered through the book.
I will be hosting the next book club south, covering The Help by Kathryn Stockett in early May. As I've mentioned before, it is an amazing audio book read by three different people to represent the characters. If you are interested, you can google a code for a free audio book from audible dot com. It does require a credit card, but cancelling is very easy to do and I have not had any issues at all with them.
The book club following will be The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart. MrsChristmas volunteered to host north.

Seriously? Sweet! I'll do my best to be there.
Thanks Again for hosting Xtina! Hope you feel better too.
Thank you all for coming. Hopefully you didn't get too wet on the walk to your cars.
I can't wait for the Help
